The 25th Annual Silver Anniversary Tiburon Wine Festival will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2008 from 1-4pm in Point Tiburon Plaza (1701 Tiburon Blvd. at Main St.), directly across from the Blue & Gold Ferry Dock.

The Tiburon wine festival on May19th was a huge success. We love supporting this charity which always sells out in days. My daughter Chelsea, who is now 21, worked the show. We have many followers there and you don't realize how dedicated these people are. There is no reluctance by fans to come up to you, nose to nose, and poke a finger at you saying "Best damn wine in the show". It is the right experience for anyone who owns a brand to know what the consumers are really thinking. In our case it is a complete ego trip, how fortunate we are.

The winery slots at the festival have almost been filled. Applications are still being accepted for the "wait" list and consideration for next year.

Wine Festival tickets released in Tiburon

Tickets for the 2007 Tiburon Wine Festival have now been released locally to Sam's Anchor Cafe, Servino Ristorante, Caffe Acri, Boardwalk Market and Windsor Vineyards. Do not wait too long to purchase as the event is close to 20% sold out already with online and phone sales. This event will sell out in advance.

Donati Family Vineyards update

I have updated Donati Family Vineyards listing on the wineries page. They were listed as "winery", but the correct name is vineyards. They were listed under Monterey, but their correct AVA is Paicines in San Benito County. Donati has also kindly listed the Tiburon Wine Festival on their website event calendar.
